Billy Butlin opened his first resort in 1936. Right from the start, his aim was to bring a little colour and happiness into the lives of hardworking families. Billy’s principles for the perfect holiday were as straightforward and down-to-earth as the man himself. And to this day, while a lot has changed, we still believe in his mission to delight.

From new contemporary hotels to amazing developments and indoor water wonderlands, there’s always lots happening at Butlins! As part of an ongoing investment programme for Butlins Skegness, 2013 saw the opening of an ultra modern £13m waterpark. There is a new outside splash play area with fountains that will turn into a water display after dark. Inside there are giant swimming pool, flumes as well as rapids, and a lazy river ride that takes guests on an outdoor adventure.  There are also an exciting wave pool, shallow areas for tots, and a central whirlpool and hot tub, for observers, or just to relax between adventures, both the ground and upper levels offer seating and lounger areas with the lower level also having a café serving drinks and light snacks.

Nine years ago, Butlins Skegness underwent a major revamp. £50 million was spent at Butlins Skegness. Part of this investment went into developing a new Caravan village. As a new park, the Caravans are spaciously laid out. The Caravan village at Butlins Skegness continues to be improved.

Butlins Skegness offers a wide range of activities, sports, pubs, clubs & shows for the whole family to enjoy.  You have the choice to eat out at one of Butlins bars or restaurants or use your self catering facilities in your caravan. There’s so many facilities and services on this family friendly resort, available to make your stay fun, relaxing and enjoyable.  Butlins certainly do their best to keep the kids happy, and we know if their happy your happy!
